I’m Looking for Fine China Brands
When I was seven years old, we were having a party at our house since my grandmother was celebrating her 60th birthday. A lot of our relatives whom we haven’t seen for a long time were visiting our place and my mother took out our finest dinnerware from the glass cabinet, which included her fine china. We only use these plates on special occasions and my mother was very proud of her delicate collection: My grandmother gave it to her as a gift to their wedding.
The Paragon china that my mother owns is a Tapestry Rose cake plate with seven dessert plates, which she used for her baked specialty, the home-made Lemon Square cake. Being a kid, I was not allowed to eat using the fine china because I might break it, and I was given a paper plate instead. I was a hard-headed kid back then. When my mother wasn’t looking, I sneaked and got one of the dessert plates. I got a piece of cake and when I was sneaking back to the table, I accidentally tripped – the china smashing to pieces on the floor together with my delicious uneaten cake.
My mother was upset. That was when I vowed to look for another piece of the dessert plate with flowers on the border and at the center when I grow up and already earning money. Right now, I am looking for different fine china brands to purchase her a new set.
