What is An Herb Grinder?

An herb grinder is a cylindrical apparatus which is composed of two halves that can be separated and contain sharp teeth or pegs aligned so that when both halves are twisted, the material that is positioned inside is efficiently shredded. There are also grinders that have two to three compartments instead of just one; it features a fine screen that separates the bottom compartment from the top allowing fine particles to pass through, but blocks larger plant material. There are also four-stage grinders and they are increasing in popularity. Four-stages are same as regular grinders; however it comprises of a second fine screen for more separation. Five stage grinders are also manufactured by many manufacturers nowadays for making snuff, and most of them are employing an anodized procedure to coat the raw material they are made from.
